Streak Ends on the Road
With a seven game winning streak at stake, the Hornets took on also undefeated St. Catharines for the first time this season.

A perfect storm resulted with six regulars missing from the line up and the Badgers took advantage building a four goal lead by mid game. Oakville was tenacious and by the end of the second frame Stacey McConnell fed Caitlin Gilligan (4) to break the goose egg.

With renewed confidence the scrappy short bench kept up the pressure and Gilligan returned the favour setting up McConnell (2) to make the game close. A pair of late goals iced the game for St. Catharines in the 6-2 loss. The Hornets return home to face Hamilton on Sunday.
