Covid 19 Update
The Oakville Girls Hockey Association (OHGHA) intends to strictly comply with all COVID-19 Policies and Procedures established by the applicable level of government.  However, the rules enacted by the Province of Ontario, Town of Oakville and OWHA contain several significant differences.  As a result, we will follow the most stringent of policies and procedures between the three, which happens to be those established by the Town of Oakville and OWHA.

Players, Staff and Volunteers, including Coaches, Trainers and Officials attending OHGHA tournaments must adhere to the following Covid-19 Vaccination Protocol set by OWHA -

On Monday, September 27, 2021, the OWHA met with Dr. Kieran Moore, Chief Medical Officer of Health for the Province of Ontario.

Pursuant to this meeting, effective immediately, it is mandatory, as a condition of eligibility to participate in any OWHA-sanctioned activity, that everyone born in 2009 and earlier must be fully vaccinated (2 shots plus 14 days) as soon as possible and by no later than November 1, 2021. This includes all players, staff and volunteers, including coaches, trainers and officials. The only exemption from this requirement is for two specific medical reasons.

Spectators at OHGHA tournaments must adhere to the Town of Oakville Covid-19 Vaccination Protocol.

All spectators ages 12 and older who do not show proof of full vaccination will not be permitted to enter impacted facilities or participate in indoor programming, without an approved exemption.

Please visit the Town of Oakville's website for full details on the Covid-19 Policy & Procedures including the Vaccination Protocol (www.oakville.ca).
