The Oakville Girls Hockey Association would like to share our appreciation for U18 A Hornets who assumed coaching positions with our U9 and U11 house league teams. Despite their demanding schedules, which included their commitments to the U18 A team, school and part-time jobs, this incredible group of young women dedicated their time to the development of our younger Hornets.   Read More

Please join us in welcoming Kate Winders, Director of Operations and Amanda Citrome, Director of Marketing to the 2021-22 Oakville Hornets Girls Hockey Association’s Board of Directors.

The OHGHA is one of the largest girls-only hockey associations, and as such we will continue to focus on growing the sport of girls’ hockey.

A huge thank you to both Mike Bach and Lisa Kramer for the dedication, time and energy they devoted to the OHGHA Board of Directors.  We wish them both all the best.

As we look ahead to our 2021/22 season we hope to be able to host our annual Hornets’ tournaments.

We will continue to plan for the tournaments while we await direction from OWHA.

Congratulations to our Jr. Hornets Alumni — Jaime Bourbonnais, Sarah Fillier & Emma Maltais — who are among the 28 women who have been named to the Canadian Olympic Centralization Roster. Congratulations also goes out to our former Junior Hornet and skills coaches Victoria Bach and Oakville native Brianne Jenner. They will compete in Calgary for spots on Team Canada for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. We wish them the best of luck! Click here to view the full roster.
