Wildcats and Hornets support the PWHPA!
Submitted By Hornets on Saturday, January 11, 2020
Toronto Leaside Wildcats president Mark Schrutt and Hornets president Mike Turczyniak joined the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association for the Closing The Gap event on the eve of the 6 game Secret showcase in Toronto.

The NHLPA presented this event with industry and player panelists speaking about the future of women's professional hockey.

The Wildcats are supporting Team Daoust and the Hornets are supporting Team Bellamy this weekend but Mike and Mark stand together in supporting the PWHPA in building a sustainable league for Wildcats, Hornets and any other girl dreaming of playing professional hockey someday!
