COVID-19 status
Submitted By Hornets on Saturday, May 9, 2020
The health, safety and well-being of players, families, coaches, officials, volunteers and members of our community remains our priority during this difficult time. Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent directives by various authorities, the Oakville Hornets are suspending all in-person association and team activities until such time as the appropriate authorities and/or our governing sport associations suggest we can resume our operations.

We will advise our membership on our programming resumption and plans as soon as the situation becomes more clear. At this time we are NOT opening registration for the 2020/2021 season, assigning players to rep teams or posting House League coaching applications due to the uncertainty what hockey will look like in fall. We are planning to hold our AGM for the 2019/2020 season in September pending further developments.

Please find the OWHA May 5th conference call minutes here for additional information.

We thank you, our members, for your patience at this time and sincerely hope you and your families remain in good health!
Mike Turczyniak, President and the Oakville Hornets Board
