Oakville Hornets
The QOTH is the post-season ending event for House League Championship teams from participating Associations, where HL Team Champions face off in one final elimination based tournament, to crown the ultimate Queen of the House Champion. Created by former President of the CYGHA, Mike Shields, along with the Oakville Hornets, we brought his vision to life as the QOTH. Mike Shields was deeply involved in House League and DS development, and was known for his energy, humour and commitment to making hockey fun for girls. Sadly Mike passed away on August 23, 2017. In his spirit, the OHGHA, the CYGHA and others, continue the QOTH in his memory. All Hail the Queen of the House!
