Back From a Long Layoff
The Sr AA Hornets came back to play after an eight week layoff to face the new look Kitchener squad.

With new addition Loren Gabel the Kitchener girls were a force to be reckoned with. Gabel's Team Canada experience and sharp shooter skills were a daunting challenge for the Hornets. Once the home girls got their legs under them and adjusted to the speed coming at them through the neutral zone, the game became much more evenly matched. Despite Gabel's 3 goal performance, the Hornets held Kitchener scoreless in the third and got a goal back in the 4-1 loss.
