Undefeated Teams Match Up
With several McMaster alumni now members of the Oakville Hornets, the two teams met with undefeated records.

The Hornets got on the scoreboard before the two minute mark with a pretty defection goal by Brittany Little (1) but three minutes later the Marauders equalled the score using their speed off the rush. Oakville got back on top before the period ended with a goal by Maddy Webb (1), her first of the season.

McMaster poured plenty of shots on net in the second before Montana Merante (3) widened the lead and Gilligan (3) scored to take a three goal lead into the final frame. The Marauder's long bench was a challenge for the Hornets feisty 11 skaters but Giova Cascioli (2) blasted a rocket off the wing behind the Mac goalie. McMaster kept the pressure on and potted a late goal to make the final Oakville 5 - McMaster 2. This was McMaster's first loss of the season.

The Hornets hit the road at the University of Guelph Saturday before returning home for a home game Sunday against the Brantford Ice Cats.
