Hornets Back Home and Sting Hawks
After a set back in St. Catharines, Oakville returned home Sunday to face the Hamilton Hawks.

For the first five minutes the team was getting their legs under them before Jessica Prevette (1) scored her first of the season. Her goal was followed by line mates Caitlin Gilligan (5) and Giova Cascioli (6) widened the lead. Before the close of the first frame Prevette (2) and Gilligan (6) both added their second of the game.

The Hornets added two more in the middle frame by Jennifer Delange (1) with her first of the season, and Gilligan (7) completing the hat trick. In the third period Brittany Little (2) and Evelyn McLean (4) capped the scoring in the 9-0 final. At the half way point of the season the Hornets hold a slim lead in the standings with an 8-1-0 record.

Friday Oakville hits the road in Brampton for the last game before the Christmas break.
