Back On Track With a Skeleton Crew
The rescheduled games are often during times when the Hornets have a tough time attending. The late weeknight game this week resulted in just eight skaters lacing up for the Hornets Sr AA.
Oakville came out with a strategic game plan and were able to establish a lead from Andrea Ziesmann's (1) goal and extend the lead in the second with a goal by Laura Gelowitz (3) before Brampton was able to narrow the lead in the middle frame.
In the final period a back and forth battle ensued before Ziesmann (2) scored her second of the game and Giova Cascioli (7) put the game out of reach with an empty net goal for the 4-1 victory.
